This 3.7V 680mAh rechargeable 14500 Li-ion battery is intended for use in electronic projects, repairs, custom battery packs, and devices designed for a 14500-format lithium-ion cell.

Its cylindrical shape, similar to that of an AA battery, allows for compact integration, but this 14500 battery should never be used as a substitute for a 1.5V AA alkaline battery or a 1.2V NiMH rechargeable battery. The voltage, technology, and charging method are different.

Before purchasing, be sure to check the part number of the old battery, as well as its voltage, capacity, dimensions, polarity, and whether it has a protection circuit. This 14500 battery must only be used in a device or pack designed for a 3.7V Li-ion cell.

It must be charged only with a 4.2V lithium-ion-compatible charger. Do not use with a NiMH, NiCd, or alkaline charger, or with electronics not designed for this type of cell.

When installing using solder tabs, never solder directly onto the sensor body. If you have any questions, we can evaluate a mounting solution upon request.
