Insert a VHS-C tape into the VHS-C tape converter for recording or viewing with a standard VCR. Use one AA battery (not included) to automatically open the drawer and insert or remove the cassette. Note that 8mm cassettes are not compatible with the converter. Only those bearing the VHS-C logo may be used.

When using the converter with a VCR and
a VHS-C tape, keep the following information and precautions in mind:
• Over the years, your VCR and your VHS-C cassette accumulate dust and grease which are not always visible to the naked eye, which can damage the inserted cassettes or block your VCR before use. We suggest using a VHS cleaner on your equipment.
• Before inserting a VHS-C cassette, check whether the VHS-C cassette is not jammed. If so, you can reduce the tension on the belt by unwinding the main belt sprocket a quarter turn (90°).
• Avoid using fast forward or rewind functions whenever possible. This avoids unnecessary pressure on the VHS-C tape.
