3V Lithium Button Cell Batteries

Lithium batteries have a shelf life of 6 years.
BR and CR DL series = duracell (LIR2032 = rechargeable)
BR: More stable voltage delivered than CR, but discharges very quickly at the end of its life. DL: Batteries equivalent to CR, but sold by Duracell.

This technology gives the battery:

• low self-discharge (1% per year)
• high energy density and thus more capacity
• a wide range of storage and use temperatures
• strong leak resistance

The letters “B” or “C” designate the nature of the metal used for the cathode:

• the “C”s are manganese dioxide,
• the “B”s are carbon monofluoride;
• the letter “R” indicates the round shape of these batteries;
• “dd” corresponds to the diameter in mm;
• "ee" corresponds to the thickness in tenths of a mm.
