Do your batteries last as long as other brands?
We have carefully tested our battery against our competitors' batteries in identical collars,
and we find that our compatible battery consistently lasts as long or longer than competing batteries.
I heard that using a compatible battery may void my collar's warranty, is this true?
Not only is this false, it would be illegal. Manufacturers are legally prohibited from forcing their customers
to purchase their brand of accessories in order to maintain the warranty. Imagine for example that all Sony customers
be forced to use only Sony brand batteries in their products, or their warranty would not be honored?
This will never happen, because it is illegal, and also because customers would not tolerate it.
Can your batteries damage my collar?
We work hard to ensure that every battery we sell matches the product specifications exactly
for which it is intended. We have sold a lot of batteries over the last few years, and we have never
been informed of a single case where one of our batteries was the cause of a collar failure. Usually,
what we hear is that the batteries arrived faster than expected, worked perfectly,
and saved the buyer money. In the unlikely event that you are the first to have this problem,
contact us immediately. We will work with you to correct the problem.
How long do batteries need to be replaced?
It depends on the type of your collar, it is best to consult the product user guide.
For most PetSafe® brand systems, the manufacturer recommends a new battery every 1 to 3 months.
How long can I keep unused batteries?
Our batteries can be stored for 10 years. We recommend that the batteries are kept in their packaging
original. Remember that if you leave batteries in the collar, they will drain within a few months of your
use it or not.
