Insert a VHS-C cassette into the VHS-C Cassette Converter to record or watch it with a standard VCR. Use one AA battery (not included) to automatically open the drawer and insert or remove the cassette. Note that 8 mm cassettes are not compatible with the converter. Only those with the VHS-C logo can be used.

When using the converter with a VCR and
a VHS-C tape, keep the following information and precautions in mind:
• Over the years, your VCR and VHS-C tape will accumulate dust and grease that is not always visible to the naked eye, which can damage inserted cassettes or jam your VCR before use. We suggest using a VHS cleaner on your equipment.
• Before inserting a VHS-C cassette, check whether the VHS-C cassette is jammed. If so, you can reduce the tension on the tape by unwinding the main tape sprocket one quarter turn (90°).
• Avoid using fast forward or rewind functions whenever possible. This helps avoid unnecessary pressure on the VHS-C tape.
